None Like Him By Jen Wilkin

God is self-existent, self-sufficient, eternal, immutable, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, sovereign, infinite, and incomprehensible.

We're not.

And that's a good thing.

Our limitations are by design. We were never meant to be God. But at the root of every sin is our rebellious desire to possess attributes that belong to God alone.

Calling us to embrace our limits as a means of glorifying God's limitless power, Jen Wilkin invites us to celebrate the freedom that comes when we rest in letting God be God.

My Review
None Like Him
By Jen Wilkin

I found this book very uplifting. Jen Wilkin hits on great topics and uses personal examples from her own life to help show the points she is trying to get across. We can find peace in doing things God's way not our own. In this book Jen describes 10 ways god is different then us. God is Infinite, Incomprehensible, Self-Existent, Self-Sufficient, Eternal, Immutable, Omnipresent, Omniscient, Omnipotent, Sovereign. With each chapter there is scripture and a story that goes with each lesson. End of each chapter are verses to meditate on and questions to reflect on what was being said in the chapter end each chapter in prayer. I like praying before studying that God will open me to understand what is being taught. Prayer at end to pray I use it in my life as God would have me. I think it make a good group study also.

I will be giving one book away if you like to read it is awesome study!
