Love in the Wind By Elizabeth Goddard

SAILING IS MADDIE CRAMER'S ESCAPE
Now she's counting on it to bring her closer to the biological father she's just met. But her chances of winning the regatta—and his approval—are in jeopardy unless she can find a new crewmate. Enter Grady Stone, a perfect fit for Maddie's crew in more ways than one.
Maddie and Grady grow close as they spend time together on the water. But Maddie, wary of emotional entanglement, guards her heart closely. And Grady's here only to help Maddie win the race, then he's off to a new job. The day of the race will test their ability to sail together—and the trueness of their love.

Elizabeth Goddard

A reader once told me that when she feels down, she picks up one of my books. She knows it will take her away from her troubles, at least for a while. That made me smile because I understand the need to ride on the winds of imagination. As a reader, I enjoy a novel that will whisk me away to another time and place.
Sometimes we simply need an escape from the stress of life and the tragedies happening around us in this fallen world. We need to be refreshed and inspired, lifted from everyday life.
I’ve often heard this response to my novels, which confirms what my ministry of words is about—telling stories set in unique locations and filled with adventure and suspense. Stories that infuse with a sense of hope and redemption. Stories that leave you with a spiritual nugget to take away.
Isn’t that what Jesus did when He told His parables?
Above all, my greatest hope is that my writing will not only entertain you, but draw your heart closer to Him.
Escape with me!

My Review

Love in the Wind
By: Elizabeth Goddard

I love Elizabeth's books this new one Love in the Wind will not disappoint you. Another well written story by Elizabeth. If you like a good book that you won't want to put down then this one will be a great choice.
I love Maddie's character. would be hard finding out the person you thought for years was your father and he really isn't. Maddie meets him and finds out they have something in common sailing. So she enters the regatta determined she will win and show her father she is good and make him proud of her. problem is she has one injured crew member that needs to be replaced. In comes Grady Stone. Through the story Maddie and Grady start to get feelings for each other can they work this out and put their trust in the Lord to lead for what is best? Can trust be built back up between them? Excellent story you will not be disappointed in this book. 5 star.
