A former Amish woman is murdered and her brother, Jacob, is arrested for the crime.
The new detective in town is not used to the local Amish community and gets nowhere with his questions. He turns to elderly Amish widow, Ettie Smith, for help.
To prove Jacob's innocence, Ettie must delve into the mysterious and secretive life of the deceased.

My Review
I have started this series by Smanatha Price. They are action packed mysteries.The new detective in town can get no where with the Amish people. He is a outsider. So he calls on Ettie Smith to help him, Maybe they will talk to her if they know something about the murder of Jacob's sister. The detective is going wrong way thinking it is Jacob who did it . Ettie has to prove to him Jacob is not guilty. Twist and turns in the story. Just when I thought i figures the who done it their is another turn. Wil Ettie be able to solve this case? Can she save Jacob from a life in prison? Great series pick it up.
