Love in Lone Creek by Mary Manners

Tanner Merrill returns home from Afghanistan bearing scars, both inside and out. If only the people of Lone Creek, who hail him as a hometown hero, knew his secret...

Baylee Cameron harbors heartache of her own, which Tanner's sudden return forces her to face. She longs to share, but can she trust Tanner with her heart?

Will the Legend of Lone Creek, which captured Tanner's three older brothers, claim Tanner and Baylee, as well?

Mary Manners is a country girl at heart who has spent a lifetime sharing her joy of writing. She has two sons and a daughter, as well as three beautiful grandchildren. She currently lives along the sunny shores of Jacksonville Beach with her husband Tim.

A former teacher as well an intermediate school principal, Mary spent three decades teaching math and English to students from kindergarten through middle grades. While growing up in Chicago and as a student at the University of Illinois, Mary worked her way through a variety of jobs including paper girl, figure skating instructor, pizza chef, and nanny. Many of these experiences led to adventures that may be found between the pages of her stories. Mary loves long sunrise runs—she’s completed three marathons—ocean sunsets and flavored coffee.

My Review

What a wonderful story! Love in Lone Creek is book 4 in the series Lone Creek Ranch. I so hate to see this end. Hmm maybe a book 5 to bring all the stories together. Maybe set of twins even! Mary is such a awesome writer stories full of  love and and hard times and God's grace. Well written and awesome well developed characters in this series. I want to visit and have a cup of coffee with them.
Tanner is home from Afghanistan after being hurt. Many scars outside and also inside of memories of what happened there. Going home to Lone Creek to heal .
Baylee working on the ranch has a deep sorrow she is bearing and can't seem to heal from. Working on the ranch  to help herself heal from something in her pass she has never told anyone else.
What has God got in the plans of these two who are hurting so much? Or what about the tale of the Legend of lone Creek. Will Tanner end up as the other Merrill brothers have?
Awesome series!!!
