Baby Baby by Diane Stortz

Baby,
Baby!

A sweet, colorful board book that appeals to a baby's interest in looking at other babies
Babies enjoy books, looking at other babies, and their own flowering abilities. This short rhyming poem combines all three in a sweet and happy way, while introducing babies to God's love for them. The simple words are paired with colorful images of babies engaging in familiar activities, allowing the book to be used as an introductory concept book as well. And it ends with a reminder that Baby is always loved by God.

Born in Detroit and raised in Southern California, Diane Stortz has lived in Cincinnati, OH, since graduating from Arizona State University with a BA in journalism. For ten years she led the book group at Standard Publishing as editorial director.

Diane now writes for children and adults at home at Izzy's Office. Her goal: Making His wonders known to the next generation.

Izzy's Office is named for Diane's first house rabbit, Isabella. A petite Dutch rabbit named Pepe ruled the office for six years too. He liked to nudge Diane's feet for attention when she was at her computer and (he thought) ignoring him.

Diane is married and has two married daughters and four young grandsons. When she's not writing, Diane enjoys walking, gardening, and planning her next trip to visit her grandkids.

My Review
Baby, Baby is such a adorable board book for wee ones. Perfect for my grandson who is 3. Beautiful illustrations with such bright beautiful colors. Telling the story of the precious things a baby is learning to do.  Has a mirror in it so they can see themselves make faces. I think it is perfect for toddlers.

I will be giving one book away! If you have a wee one or know someone that does or will be having perfect little first book. Just leave a comment below. Winner will be chosen in 7 days.

  1. Oh Diana, what a sweet book. We have a couple at church that became parents in June which was several months early. Baby Kole's arrival had him weighing in at 1.3 pounds, but now weighs 4 pounds and will be coming home soon. He is a living miracle. Please remember them in your prayers. Thank you for this opportunity. I bet you can guess who would end up with this book. :) Wonderful review. Thank you for sharing.
    Blessings
