Children of God by Phil Wickham

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called the Children of God.
1 John 3:1

Phil Wickham delivers his most personal album to date. Standing on the musical foundation he has built through the years, "Children of God" is at once recognizable as another Phil masterpiece, but with a few new musical twists and turns that make this record a sonic buffet. The album's first single "Your Love Awakens Me" was played before an audience of thousands on the 2016 Spring Rock & Worship Roadshow Tour alongside Newsboys, Jeremy Camp, Mandisa and more. Phil Wickham's acclaimed single "This Is Amazing Grace" was honored with RIAA Gold Certification from his 2013 project, "The Ascension" and was BMI's 2015 Christian "Song of the Year."

“Children of God”

A year and a half ago I lost my voice and was forced to get surgery on my vocal chords with the risk of not being able to sing professionally again. During the difficulty of that season, God spoke the simple yet massive truth into my heart that he loves me. That he loves us. That we are first and foremost His children. That whatever may come our way we are His children. Out of this new found sense of identity this song was written. It is a response to His love, and a call to others who have lost sight of or have never heard this truth. We are His. We have nothing to fear. We have only hope in front of us. We are the CHILDREN OF GOD. -Phil

My Review
Wow listening to Children of God by Phil Wickham what a very upbeat CD. TO pick a favorite song  is very hard. I loved the CD. Awesome worship music. Songs that edify the Lord. Though  we have trials in our life God is there by our side. Born sinners die that we may become perfect like Him!!. Such encouraging words in Phil's music. I really loved all the songs. Each holds its own personal message to bring us closer to God's heart. Awesome!!!
I was given this CD to review  from Flyby Productions that I would give my honest opinion.
