Meet the Author Amy Lillard

         Meet The Author

Today I would like to welcome my quest Amy Lillard to Diana's Tea Time Reviews. She is a author of many Amish romances, historical s  , Amish mysteries, and novellas. Also Amy writes small town contemporary romances. If you want to know more about what Amy writes visit her website: https://amylillardbooks.wordpress.com/about-amy/amy/why-i-write-what-i-write/

I recently had the pleasure of reading Amy's newest Amish novella  " More Than Friendship ",  from her Quilting Circle series which is a spin off from her Wells Landing series.  I have also read her contemporary romance " Brodie's Bride ".  Below is a synopsis and my review of both books. I don't care which genre she writes I love them all!!! I think you will too.

    More Than Friendship

Woven deeply into the Amish community of Wells Landing, Oklahoma, a women's quilting circle is a place to share everything from recipes to hopes and dreams, especially when love is in the air...

The youngest member of the quilting circle, Clara Rose Yutzy has her whole life ahead of her. And it's just beginning, with plans for a wedding to her longtime beau, Thomas Lapp. Everything is falling into place, which is why Clara Rose resolutely ignores her newly warm feelings for her best friend, Obidiah Brennaman. There's never been a hint of romance between them, and no reason to pay attention to such nonsense now...

Steady, sturdy Obie feels differently. He's never thought to hard about his future, but the news that Clara Rose is about to be married is strangely unsettling.  Convincing Clara Rose to take another look at their friendship may not be easy, but Obie is certain God intends for them to be together.  He'll do whatever he must to make Clara Rose see how much he loves her, and with the Lord's help, before it's to late...

My Review
More Than Friendship
By Amy Lillard

I just love Amy's books. If you haven't read any of her books pick this one up and I just know you will jump right in there and want more.  Her book will leave you wanting more. Wonderful well written characters that you will just fall in love with and want to make a part of you family!! You will want to stay with this book keeps you turning the pages.
Love story between friends! Growing up together Clara Rose and Thomas are pretty much expected to marry. Clara Rose finally excepts to marry him. She has always thought he  would a good man to raise a family with.  But things are being said at the quilting bee that upsets her to whether she should marry him or not. What could be going on with Thomas? And who is this Obadiah Brennaman? Pick this novella up I just know you want the answer to those questions!!!

Brodie's Bride

Waking up next to a beautiful golden-haired stranger isn't the worst thing that has ever happened to Brodie Harper, but staying in a fake marriage in order to gain a new construction contract could very well be.

Savanna Morgan just wanted a way out of an engagement to a man she didn't love. Marrying Brodie seemed like the perfect answer at the time. Less perfect the next morning when she finds herself disowned by her father and flat broke. Now she must make it through the weekend. Monday they can get it all annulled and forget it ever happened.

The real problem may be keeping their hands off each other untill then.

My Review
Brodie's Bride
By Amy Lillard

I love Amy's books!! No matter the genre she keeps me glued to her stories.  Can you imagine waking up and finding out you are married? Wow that's what happened to Savanna and Brodie! I think Savanna had a little something in her iced tea. This is a big problem for her tycoon father who has someone in line for her to marry. Not that Savanna loves him in any way, but will do as her says to keep in his graces (money). Can she have true love and happiness? This book is a nice romance has some romantic moments but not to hot. I loved the characters. They are well written and think you will also fall for Brodie as Savannah did! Savannah is rich and spoiled not use to having to shop at Kmary but she learns how other people live that arn't born with a silver spoon. I loved it once I started the pages kept flipping cause I wanted to see what was going to happen next. Looking forward to another great book by Amy Lillard.

Amy Lillard

Amy loves nothing more than a good book. Except for her family...and maybe homemade tacos...and nail polish. But reading and writing are definitely high on the list.

Born and bred in Mississippi, Amy is a transplanted Southern Belle who now lives in Oklahoma with her deputy husband, their genius son, two spoiled cats, and one very lazy beagle. Oh, and don't forget the stray kitty that has taken up residence on her front porch.

When she's not creating quirky characters and happy endings, she's chauffeuring her prodigy to guitar lessons, orchestra concerts and baseball practice. She has a variety of hobbies, but her favorite is whatever gets her out of housework.

Amy also writes contemporary romances under the pen name Amie Loullen.

An award winning author, Amy is a member of RWA and ACFW. She loves to hear from readers. You can find her on facebook, Instagram, Google+, Twitter, Goodreads, and Pinterest. For links to the various sites, check her website:  www.amylillardbooks.com

Thank you so much for stopping by and having some Meadow tea with me and finding out more about your books you write. I love all the different books you write. I am looking forward to seeing whats coming out next. Hmm did I hear something about a cowboy?  Keep your eyes open I hear there is something new coming soon.

O I almost forgot!!! Amy is giving a e-book copy of each book " More Than Friendship " and " Brodie's Bride " to one winner. Yu will not want to miss out on this!! These books are wonderful!!! Please leave a comment and say hello to Amy! Have any questions sure she will be glad to answer you.  Good luck!!!
