Glenys Nellist

Although Glenys Nellist lives in Michigan, USA, she was born and raised in a little village in northern England.
Her introduction to evangelism began as a child. She remembers standing on street corners, along with her seven siblings, as her father, a Methodist Local Preacher, sang hymns and loudly invited passers-by to their small village church.
Her introduction to writing began in Primary school where one day a week, she was one of the lucky few withdrawn from the classroom to sit in big, comfy armchairs in the teachers' lounge. There, in front of a roaring log fire, with pencil and paper on lap, Glenys would write.
Four decades later, her stories and poems began to appear in children's magazines, where her writing reflected a deep passion for bringing the Bible to life for young children.
When she is not writing, Glenys can usually be found playing with her three young grandsons, or paddling around in wooden boats, which her husband, David, is adept at building.

My Review

Love Letters from God what a wonderful book.  I fell in love with this book the moment i opened it. Such a beautiful book. The illustrations are beautiful. Kids will love the beautiful pictures.  Inside Glenys has written Biblical stories from the Bible. When reading you can picture the stories happening.  So vivid. Stories are  from the Old Testament  and the New Testament.  Each story has a Bible verse plus a note from God. I love the note from Jesus at the end. This book is for kids ages 4 - 8.  Children will love this book, what a excellent gift it would be.
