Wonderful Historical western book. I really enjoyed this
book. The characters in the book are well written. I really like Penny
Marsden. Penny came from the wrong side
of the track. Meets Alex and they fall
in love and marry. war time and Alex goes off to war. He has been gone for 5 years. Penny does the
best she can to raise their daughter and live a life that is upholding in the
eyes of the people. she ends up with buying a saloon. Hard times and
controlling man in town by the name of Holloway wants her place. Can she stand
up to him and hold her ground not to sell?
Will Alex ever return to her?
This book is wonderful. I this readers who like historical
books will love this book and others written by Tanya Stowe.
