Wonderful novel well written by Tanya Stowe. I love the characters. Her books are always clean written. I like that.
Alex and Penny from opposite sides of the street. Meet and fall in love. The civil War has started and they are running all Southerners out of town. He has had leave Penny behind. Will these two meet back up and start their lives together?
