Dr. Pierre serves as the Lawrence & Charlotte Hoover Professor of Biblical Counseling at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and chairs the Department of Biblical Counseling & Family Ministry. He also serves as Pastor of Executive Leadership at Clifton Baptist Church.

In addition to the books listed on this page, Pierre's writing has been featured in Tabletalk Magazine, Baptist Press, and the Gospel Coalition. He speaks at various engagements in the U.S. and overseas and serves on the board of directors for the Biblical Counseling Coalition.

He and his wife Sarah raise their five children in Louisville, Kentucky.

My Review

This is the story of the most beautiful story can ever be told. We are bought on this earth to fulfill our journey home. Our journey home being Heaven. Yes we are born on this earth to live but through time we will have trials to help us to grow and to fulfill what Christ has for us in our heavenly home. Our goal our mission is to be Christ like win souls for Christ. Stories from the beginning of time in Genesis with the creation and until the time of end Revelation but yet a new beginning for a Christian. This book is a wonderful tool in every home to teach us our journey to live our journey. I can't read it to my kids but they can their children. I want my grandchildren to take this journey. My kids grew up taking the journey with us. Well written and loved illustrations.
