Introducing private investigator Kate Weller in the first of the brand-new Marked for Retribution mystery series.
On the run from a troubled past, Kate Weller, the newest member of Price Investigations, covers her tracks, changes her name and takes a case in Charleston, South Carolina, where she can hide in plain sight.
Renting a charming room with a waterfront view, Kate sets about trying to locate her adopted client’s natural siblings, only to find more questions than answers when she eventually tracks down a long-lost sister. Meanwhile, her new landlord won’t stop sticking his nose into her case. As far as Kate’s concerned, Eric Manfredi should focus on whatever competitor is bent on ruining his family business. But when petty vandalism turns lethal, and Eric’s father is arrested for murder, Kate determines to prove his innocence. Can she find the real culprit before a killer from her own past tracks her down?

My Review
Another great Romance Suspense by Mary Ellis. This is a page turner to see who done it. Mary got me I didn't know till the end who it was. That's a great author. Great characters and well written. First of the A Kate Weller Mystery series. Looking forward to the next one.
Kate is working for Price Investigations. Her case takes her to Charleston South Carolina where she is to find a lost sister for the client that may save her life. But would she want to be a part in her life and help her before it is to late. Kate has a nice room to stay in so she can Hide in Plain Sight. Living in the upstairs room her landlord is always bugging her about her case which leads her into another case involving his father who is arrested for murder. She has to prove he is innocent. She is kinda liking this handsome landlord but she needs to keep this business. Never mix the two. But...... Wonderful story pick it up coming out August 1st. But great news is you can pre-order it now.
