Never-Ending Night By: Tanya Stowe

On the eve of the Battle of Shiloh, Union soldier Tyler Sheridan has a premonition he is going to die. That night, he writes an epic anti-war poem called “Never-ending Night.” The next day, a cannonball explodes in front of him, but rather than walking through the gates of Heaven, Tyler steps into a modern-day
Civil War reenactment. Confused by a world he can’t comprehend, Tyler has no choice but to rely on a beautiful and fascinating photojournalist for help.

As Stacy Sutton watches Tyler emerge from the rising smoke of faux cannon fire, she’s amazed by the authenticity of his uniform and demeanor—and then he claims to be from the nineteenth century, a mere delusion according to
doctors. But Stacy’s not convinced Tyler is delusional and sees helping him as her second chance—an opportunity to atone for the death of her partner...and her past. As the mystery surrounding Tyler’s appearance deepens, it threatens any hope they have of a future together, and Stacy finds she must discover whether the man she loves is a traveller through time or a mad man lost in his own delusions.

 My Review:

Never - Ending Night

By: Tanya Stowe

I really enjoy Tanya's books and this one was no disappointment. I started reading the book and couldn't put it down. I read it in one sitting. To good she kept me wanting to turn the page I had to see what was happening.  Never Ending Night was more then a historical it was also romance and a hint of time travel.

I really felt for the characters in the story.  Stacy who is a photographer out taking pictures of war time re-enactments . From the loss she has in her life some how finds getting loss in her work a way to hide herself. Through the re-enactment walks a soldier through the smoke.  Only problem is he is from the Battle of Shiloh how can that be that was like 1862 and it is 2012. Tyler can only remember a big explosion.  Then Stacy was over him. He remembers the poem he wrote Never-Ending Night. Get this book it is really great.  I love the way Tanya works Tyler's faith into the story.  I think this book can  reach out to a lot of readers, Historical, Romance, Time Travel, Mystery, and Spiritual.
I received this book from bookfun.org. My review is my own opinion.
